Inaugural Dog

If you watched ever so carefully, you would have seen me at the inauguration. Nothing could keep Fenway from celebrating and the Obama's invited me to EVERYTHING!

This is our official portrait. I am so proud!

The Obama's savored the feeling of having a dog in their laps. President Obama was totally blissed out by my mere presence. He knows he's in good hands
with a vigilant border collie by his side.

The Bushes even invited me to their house
to greet the Obamas and make them feel at home!

Then it was off to the Capitol for the big inaugural ceremony...
I tried my darnedest to get Dick Cheney
out of his wheelchair for a game of fetch.

I like Barak Obama...he's always up for a game of frisbee!

I brought my beloved Everlasting Fun Ball
(aka Green Ball) to the swearing in.
I just knew I'd find someone in the crowd of 2 million
who would be up for some fun.

The new administration looks like they want to play!

I even got to stay up late and go dancing!

I was an integral part of watchful security detail!

What a day, what a night, bloggerini's. I really loved being with the Obama's and the kids couldn't have been nicer, since they already want a dog. But I just couldn't bring myself to move my bed and toys to The White House.

I am back at home where I really want to be...with the Alphas.

You were quite striking in the play bows! The secret service has nothing on you.. the Obamas don't need them with you around. I hope you invite me next time.

Aaaaaaa Fenway...

It looks like ya had quite a day takin' part in the Inaugural festivities but did ya make the little Obama girls sneeze when ya went ta visit with 'em ? Cause regardless of yer best intentions one of 'em is allergic ta dogs 'n so it's either a Labradoodle or a Portuguese Water Dog that will be livin' in the White House with Malia and Sasha.....

Sigh.... we were hopin' it would be a Wire Fox but we must defer ta their choice with grace.....'n hope that the new First Dog will be loved and well cared fer....

To answer your ? I used to do agility but I had lots of zooomies and I did compete in good dog show(s). I won several ribbons but it took a lot of my time away to play with my family ... Woof! Sugar
