Today is our pal Addie's first birthday. What a big milestone for our young friend. I hope you go to her blog, Raising Addie, and read about her charming antics with Puppy Lucie. They are a precious couple of doggies. And they are so dear to my heart because of their border collie-ness.So here's a tribute to a lovely girl who is almost all grown up!
And hats off to Addie's people! As you may have gleaned, we border collies are a lot of fun. But, we require extra special effort on the part of our human family to keep us exercised and out of trouble.
Remember....a good border collie is a tired border collie!

Thanks for the advice from your mom about my sizzle scare. I have a special collar we use on walks that hugs around my neck and led to that one super great obedient walk I had. They've tried wrapping me tightly in my coats and sweatshirts and pinning them snug along my belly but it didn't seem to help all that much when I was outside. But for some reason this collar worked a little. My special new harness also has lots of belly straps that apply pressure on me.
Ack! At least I'm getting better! We went from NEVER having a good day to having almost all good days inside, and some good days outside. There's an improvement!

Yes, it is a celebratory day indeed and we went over there bright and early to leave our wishes. Addie is a lovely girl!
