Snow Day!

As a lot of you already know, the East Coast was slammed with a big snowstorm the other day. Boy, was I surprised when Ms. Alpha opened the door on Monday morning! Since I am genetically programmed to be delighted by just about anything with a potential fun-factor, I went bonkers and zoomied all over my giant field.

Just look who I met! The most perfect snow dog showed up to play rough and run with me. Here is Beau, my pretty white friend who was the only other dog interested in Extreme Winter Sports.

Beau is teaching me how to curl my tail over my rump.

"Is this how you do it??

Then it was my turn and I tried to teach Beau 

to do a herding outrun.Beau is a little slow and 

doesn't understand that first you have to move.

I laid down to make it easy for Beau to catch me.

But I am a trickster.....

...When he got near, I just zoomed away.

I finally let Beau catch me for a little wrestling.

Beau has me in a very compromising position.

After Beau left, I went back to being 

The Vigilant Border Collie.

Nothing escapes my notice and I watch 

for anything that moves.

I gave each and every snowflake my collie eye.
