I'm So Tired!

The Alpha's gave me great new agility toy. They built me my very own tire jump! What a feat of engineering, and all for moi.

Our once lush oasis of a garden is being slowly transformed into my very own agility stadium. I've got a set of 12 weave poles, a teeter, 3 jumps and a pause table. Ms. Alpha doesn't even care that I run through her garden, shred mature hostas and trample the ligularia and wild ginger. Whatever makes me happy, ya know?

As soon as the tire contraption went up I studied it.
Pretty quickly, I figured out how to have fun with it.
Yep....it's more fun to go through than  around it.
Here's my launching technique:
front paws up and ready for take off.
Weeeee! Look at me!
I'm just a blur of fur in flight.

Hi Fenway! What a cool tire jump! I would love to have one of those. Congrats on the award and thanks for passing it on to us. I must admit we might have trouble getting it to show up on our blog. We are still learning all this confusing bloggie stuff :)

Fen,

Haha! Your yard is starting to look the way mine looked years ago! It's funny what used to be important to our Alphas is no longer important... the nice grass, beautiful view. Pretty soon, it's "all about the dog"! Yeah, we sure know how to wrap them around our little paws, don't we!! :)

Have fun with your tire!

HI Fenway

Wow a whole week in MA. Mom works in Waltham so it's right around the corner from Lexington. On memorial day we're going to do Paws in the Park. Peewee (Mango's brother) is going too. It's in Lincoln MA not too far from Lexington. Check out the event http://www.saveadog.org/paws2009.asp

I am an assured pup but can be overly excited at first.. and full of energy. I think we'd be fine.

You're lucky that you have space for your agility equipments. We don't. If we had, we would also make it into our own Agility training course! I like your new tire jump. Nicely made.

i had my last control unleashed class on sunday.. our instructor made the course a little trickier by putting pieces of cheese on the ground that we were not allowed to eat. can you believe it! needless to say, i will be a repeater. no question.

Muwah- big slobbery kisses for the lovely award~ very honored.

Thanks for the DAP advice Fen-man. Unfortunately the depths of my issues go far beyond the power of massage and pheromones. But oh, how my folks wish it could work!

There will be a post next week about what's been going on. This spring has given new strength to my demons and we just haven't had any luck keeping them at bay. I can no longer even function well enough outside to do my Good Boy business - my compulsive disorder has the best of me now. But... there's treatment and hope for me yet. I'm not ready to give up!

Thanks for the kind thoughts. We'll be chattin' next week.
